This is parallel universe Celest speaking. My favorite game is Mighty the Armadillo 2006!
To be honest...I can imagine this possible universe:
Mighty is SEGA's mascot, Sonic falls into obscurity. Would Tails be replaced by Ray or would Tails even exist or Ray for that matter? Ok...so let's say that Ray replaces Tails. Since Mighty is the mascot; Shadow, Silver, Amy, Scourge and Mephilies would be Armadillos. I can imagine what Shadow, Amy, Scourge and Meph would look like (Crystal form Meph looks fricking scary in my imagination) but not Silver for some reason... I guess it's the quills on his head. Their personalities would be the same though. Knuckles would still exist because he would still have a bit of a rivalry with Mighty (maybe strength instead of speed meaning the characters would be more power inclined instead of speed).Maybe the franchise would have more fighting games than Sonic the Fighters and Sonic Battle? What would Eggman say instead of "I hate that hedgehog"? Maybe "That awful Armadillo!" or something down the lines of that (I had to reword it because all the synonyms for 'hate' that start with A didn't work for me. I really want to see someone draw Mighty and Ray in the style of the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog tv show to give me more ideas for this AU). Oh yeah...Mighty would be getting this god-awful Movie that's coming out soon...Oof... Back to what I was saying. Who knows, maybe Mighty will have better games than Sonic? Maybe fighting games would come out instead of platformers, can anyone imagine: MURK THE ARMADILLO (My interpretation of Shadow's name in the Mighty universe, maybe I'll change all their names, Mercury the Armadillo for Silver? Maybe using the Christian interpretation of the Devil for Mephilies, Satacis the Dark...dunno about the name though) Idk...this is just my interpretation of this scenario.
Hm...I could probably rewrite the entire franchise but instead of Sonic and Tails....It's Mighty and Ray. I think the interesting part would be changing the game mechanics to be a side-scrolling fighting game.
