Yes they were so much better then the movies. They have Hicks and Newt, and combat Androids akin to the ones from Blade Runner that didn't know they were human. The Engineer's motives were clear, we basically got the Aliens 3 we deserved with Alien cults and all out global combat, and got the Prometheus we deserved.
